Rear Window Seals

Rear window seal on my 98 gs is popping out. Should I reseal them or replace? if the latter can anyone suggest a good supplier.

Think this may have been a common problem with '98 model, as the rubber seal round rear windscreen was replaced under warranty on 3 occasions because it started curling-up in top corners, and also didn't fully cover the gap between the glas and the bodywork. In the end I think they replaced the seal with a wider one.

Believe dealer used Autoglass to do repair. I suppose if you could get your hands on the rubber plus the sealant you could do the job yourself, but once fitted you need to tape the whole thing down for a few hours to let the sealant bed-in.

This happened to me about 2 years ago. The seal came down with the window as I went to grab a parking ticket - bad news was that the window would not go fully up as the seal had distorted. My local dealer fixed it although I can not remember if I paid or not.
