Hello guyzz....just a new kid on the block :hokus-pokus:

Need help regarding with my plan changing my 12 vlave engine to 4age.

1st, I have present problem with my carburetor...the butterfly is not in top function. Most of the time the idle is going crazy. :crybaby:

Went to a carburetor specialist and told me that i have to a buy a new carb or a second hand.

A friend told me to replace the engine to an 4AGE coz it is more reliable and lesser fuel consumption compared to my existing engine( 12Valave 2e).

What is the best option?

hope you can help me out guyz.. :help:

thanks,

hi there pupoy. i have a 12v 2e motor in my corolla ee90 sprinter. both my car, and your car, are based on the ae92 corolla platform. that platform was designed to accomadate the 4age aswell. this means that the engine will definitely fit into place directly. its still a bit of a job, but its do-able.

4age is a great motor. its well worth dropping one in
