Thanks for all the info stefptycia, but after phoning ecuexchange and explaining my problem and which car the ecu came off (toyota 2l-te) they said yeh sure no problem post it to us and we will either fix it or replace it. Was told around 2 day turn around. They got it next day and I waited and waited and waited! No reply so I phone them up again, Ohhhhh they tell me they can't do sod all with this and the chap then goes to tell me they havn't seen one of these in the last 20 odd years!!!

What a load of crap I thought, Truck is only 13 years old. They told me they would return it to me right away.

Waited and waited but no sodding ecu!!! Phoned them again told me bloke got a broken foot would be in the next day! Let's hope it was my ecu falling on it that caused his poorly foot! Well bloke finaly got back to work thursday told me he posted it and I should get it today Friday. Waited all day till 3.30pm then finally received Ecu. Still not sure if it's the ecu at fault or not as it has not been tested!!! Bloke at ecuexchange told me that they hadn't the equipment to test it!!! Phoned some other firm up for replacement they told me £750!!!!! wowwwwwwwwwww :ffs: So holding out on this one. Going to another service centre tommorow see what they say.

Actually I tend to think it is not the Ecu after all this! Cus there are so many sensors on the car that all connect to the Ecu and apparently any one of them could cause me to lack power!

All I want now is for a garage to replace any likely sensor tune the pump and then see what happens. Oh by the way, On this landcruiser I have 2 Ecu's!!!!!!!!

one for the engine and one for the flaming gear box.

greeeeeeeeeeeeat!!!!!

I will let you all know the progress in the next few days.

That's just great Mr Chris - you just can't get the staff!!!!
