Remember I fitted these not so long ago?

Well I was stopped the other day by a police car, because apparently I was imitating an Emergency Vehicle. Consequently, told to change them immediately and go down to the Police Station tomorrow, and show them I have changed them. So what did I do? go back to boring White? Nope...... I'm sure they'll love these ones......

Yup - you are not allowed blue or red forward facing lights on a vehicle.

I was under the impression before that you were allowed blue lights, as long as they weren't flashing, but apparently you can still get done for blue solid lights....

Nice shade of green though.

It's illegal to have any forward facing coloured lights other than indicators.

Have an accident say... your insurance will be void as the vehicle is not road legal.

Next it will be neon washer jets...

Please let us know their reaction to them (though I've got a feeling we know what it will be already). ;)

That's not really too clever is it?!!

I'm hoping you didn't go to the cop shop with them fitted? They'd crucify you!!!

Think they look alright though, specially with the black, very jedi

I like both them colours but you are very brave also doing the green, I'd be too nervous and put the original white back in!

Man, cheer up! Iv just been reading a few posts and this is the 3rd time iv seen you mention illegal and insurance void! If someone wasn't paying tax or insurance then sure... get out the law book, but for some coloured lights?? Chill! Grab a beer, get some hookers 'round and have a party. Sorry, is that illegal too.

You'll be pleased to know, I still have my sidelights for the time being.

They applauded my balls/sense of humour/originality. And are actually unsure on the legality of them. Because the laws over here are different to the UK and anywhere else. So they are going to get back to me ;)

This is the legaility of lights on vehicles:

Vehicle lighting regs.

As far as I cna make out, a blue light is not illegal, but the plog won't be happy with it.

As long as it's a solid light, that doesn't move, then it's legal, unless it is red.
