Does the Cynos share parts etc with any other cars ??

Well for the braking systems anyway ?

whats wrong with the calipers. I can help with parts as they're similar to Sera, but I may need some measurements.

I'm on holiday from tomorrow to the 11th July.

basically the right front wheel gets red hot driving normally after about 20/30 min

this is with a new set of brake pads on & the callipers took a hell of a lot of pressure to retract when i changed the pads.

how much for the callipers & disks? what kinda condition are they in?

ohh when you want Sera brake pads what do you buy? because there is nothing similar for the cynos, i tried 96 paseo pads once but they were to thick.

Many toyota calipers can be made interchamngable. Ie with a bit of work you can probably get mk1 mr2 brakes onto your car. Make sure its the later ones, 260mm, and your happy. I am currently trying to find celica gt4 calipers to fit to my mr2. Where are you situated?

im half minded to get something similar but not sure if it'll :censor: anything up.

im currently using pads from a 96 'seo. would it work if i nicked the disks & calipers from a mates wrecked 97 seo? & use them but leave the ABS disconnected?

im near sevenoaks (J5/m25)

I'm 90% sure that the Sera uses Starlet pads so maybe you can with the Paseo/Cynos too

what do you need?

I don't really need anything, I'm guessing he didn't have any mods he wants shot of? I wouldn't mind the original fog plastic grill things if they are still around but only if they are going spare... :)

Only way your going to find out is by trying. i take it his paseo has abs, yours doesnt? The ABS i believe is done by a sensor attached to the hub, monitoring a ring on the driveshaft, so fitting different discs and calipers shouldnt affect it.
