I got my spectator tickets - bog standard post for us common spectators though.... although it was 1st class, so I guess I can't complain too much....

I've just been looking at LOC and it appears that there could be alot (well, possible) of non Toyota and Lexus cars going for the quarter mile runs

With everyone running from the start the total time for everyone doing 1 run is 19 1/2 minutes

Hi Ken / Steve,

I sent a PM this morning to the organisers, got a confirmation message, but it appears to have disappeared into lost message land!

Anyway, my query is; are the organisers of Sunday's Bruntingthorpe event members of any 'official' Track Day organisers body? As we've just got the car back from a spray, we're thinking of getting Track Day insurance and my insurers have asked the question.

If you could let me know ASAP, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

if any peeps r worried about stone chips etc..... best thing u can do is buy some coloured tape from B&Q and stick some over ur front end/lights etc.

ive got some white tape (white car) & will be using it..... u cant really c it once ur moving, so ur car still looks ok on pics/vids

I won't be around much from now on as i'm setting off tomorrow morning to Bruntingthorpe for a pre-event final briefing, i'll try and log on at the hotel but if not i'll see you all sunday

Their is a couple of track places going so first come first served on the gate for those at this late stage.

Their is also an official photographer an he will be located in the Toyota trailer from about 2.30 for you to purchase a cd of your favourite pictures of the day.

Really looking forward to this now :D

Almost set - just need to finish servicing. I Have all my braided hoses 100% fitted after knackering some brake lines, new(ish) front calipers fitted and my new road wheels to go on at the end of the day B)

The "support" car should be finished and loaded by this time tomorrow too :D

just had a new filter and lots of nice new Millers Motorsport CFS oil, also 2 bottles of Millers CVL Turbo fuel treatment in the boot ready for the sunday morning fill-up.

final check over tmrw, then a good old thrashing on sunday
