I know what I'm getting :) Seems that £15.99 is the cheapest price though?

Why do you need to pay £15 for the haynes manual when you have ......

TOC!

Go Gold instead (I know you already are Charis but im talking to others) !

Because it's a great thing to have at hand. When you're out at the car, it's a bit hard to dart in and out checking and asking online (if you can get online)

Plus I'd like to have one for every car I own - call it a souvenir :)

I could argue....but I'm feeling nice today :D !

I hope it will last as my car's in for it's service today and I've got some Excellent & Fabulous brand new 1L Colour Collection (Hurry up Mr T I don't want my SR back!)

Don't you think it's a good motto:

Go Gold I tell thee

I wouldn't mind one for Xmas.

I'll be adding it to my list...

Dave - you got a Yaris for a courtesy car? What happened to the Corolla?

Well no point me asking my Mum or my girlfriend for one of these as they'd say...

"Why do you need one? You only open the bonnet to check the washer bottle and that's not very often".

They'd be right too!

there only any good for the wiring diagrams, other wise you've payed £15 for no more than a piece of tissue paper.

No, I would have paid £15 towards my collection ;)

It's the result of my Dad constantly having old bangers and tonnes of these manuals around when I was a kid. Just a bit of nostalgia... and you never know... it may just be useful sometime. :bookworm:

An invaluable feature I find is the step-by-step (correct, recommended) guide to dismantle various body parts and fixtures. Not by brute force, which I may be tempted to try when eventually I get tired of finding a way, for example, to get that winding handle off the door panel and fail repeatedly, miserably.

The paper is of very poor quality, I grant you that. And, the black-and-white photos are not much better, only just serviceable for identifying component parts, but seldom helpful in identifying locations.

Then again, there is no other book on the market that is that exhaustive and comprehensive in its coverage. I have to admit I'll be lost without the Haynes manual.

If its anything like my 2CV its a waste of money...

Best use I've found for mine is a for balancing on top of the engine and holding tools!
