yo guys, hows things??

thanks for the help on the spark plugs and stuff, im thinking im going to invest in a set of those Iridium plugs yous were talking about, so cheers again....

now onto the topic in question....

my cd player in car has just died, 5yr old, think its done well so im looking ton get a new one, but i dont want just a cd player, i want one of these ones that have a screen on it......now im going for a single din one, but looking at the space im not too sure if there is enuf clearence for the screen to pop out and be in a good viewing angle cause of part of the dash that sticks out with the heating controls.....any of yous folks got one or can you tell me if a 7" will fit??

Im not sure if this is much help to ya but i have a gen 6 GT4 and i have my sony cd player in the bottom slot and just above it i have a motorised 7" monitor. i had to slightly file the dash (only very slightly) so that it could slide out without catching. Now it slides out and pops up fine with great viewing angle. I dont know how much different the interior on the gen 5 is tho

No he was just letting me know that the gen 5 celica has the stereo lower down than the model i have (gen 6).
