Swaping The Front Fog Lamps To Driving Lamps

Before I take a little trip down to Halfrauds, has anyone swapped out the front fog lamps on a 94 GT for something more useful ?

I know they are low down for driving lamps, but I guess every little will help.

Need to find out how they are mounted and if some of the projection lamps will fit in place.

Would that be legal???

Thought driving round with normal foglamps on is illegal anyway if vision is not impared.

Yeah its illegal to drive round with fog lights on, but if they are 'driving lamps' it is not illegal... but then when you get pulled over (which you will) you have to proove to the police that they are infact driving lamps.

It's ok if they are switched with the main beam. So only come on when you have full headlights on, have them wired the same way on the Impreza.

There is only about twice a year that I can use the fog lights (Visability under 100m) so no point in having the fog lights.

I am sure you are right, But that makes absolutly no sence to me at all since fog lights seem to be a lower beam that the briving lights anywhay so surely you are being even more dangerous buy having x4 driving lights rather than x2 driving lights and x2 fog lights on. Strange how the law works init?
