Regarding the window tints....is it best to get them done profesionally or is there any good do it yourself kits that anyone could recommend? I dont want it to end up bubbling or with creases in but if i could do it myself (or rather get Craig to do it for me) it would no doubt be much cheaper.

Get it done professional unless you know someone that has done it before and is very good at it. You saw my pics on that link i gave you and them tints were done proffesionally. £180 all round with 5 yr warranty

Im not sure about lowering now, i think it would look better but I dont want to do any damage and I cetainly cant afford a new set of wheels if anything goes wrong. Maybe I will start with something else like some new speakers or window tints or something.

I have always had lowered cars and never done any damage. As long as you dont go fast over huge speed bumps your fine.

Definatly worth it, looks and handles A LOT better!

Dont attempt it yourself - you can spot DIY jobs a mile off...

Plus, there are new laws with regards the level of tint you can have on the front windows - so a proffessional outfit could advise you of whether you are within the law or not.

any tint is now illegal, its up the police discretion see a 30 yr old driving with tints - erm let them off , see a 17 yr old chav with tints , he gets pulled , its that simple.

Windscreens on vehicles first used before April 1985 must let in 70 percent of light to stay legal. That figure rises to 75 percent for vehicles issued after that date. Front-side windows on all vehicles are required to let in 70 percent of light. Rear windows can be as heavily tinted as you want.
