Newbie Needs Help Changing Headlight On Gt4

Hi all ive just recently purchased a celica gt4 wrc model and need help in changing the headlight. I know you have to remove the front bumper and thats where my problem lyes i dont know where to start i have viewed pictures etc on the net of the construction of the bumper on celica tech but does anyone have a list of instructions or could someone tell me how to do it? Please help as im getting :ffs: it would be greatly appreciated

If it's a ST205 GT4 i.e. gen 6. Then you need to take off all the cover panels under the engine that attach to the front bumper.

Then take of the wheel arch liners and you find some screws attaching the bumper to the wings.

Then lift the bonnet think there's some more screws holding the top of the bumper onto the front cross member.

Then look behind the number plate upwards, you should see some screw holding the bumper onto another cross member, these are a bit of pain to get to :ffs: , need a short screwdriver.

Then it should come off, if memory serves correctly. :D

You dont need to actually 'remove' the bumper completely. I changed the headlight in mine by just loosening it a bit until i had enough room to get the light out. Although that was about 2 and a half years ago now.

A stone cracked the headlight when i was driving and my mot is up soon so need to replace it, sounds like a real big job cheers for advice tho.
