Uprated Paseo Alternator?

Hi all,

My Battery is pretty much screwed to all extents as its just not built for the stuff ive got on my car so gona get a yellow top Battery and thinkin bout a bigger alternator?!?

I know the better Battery will help but will i need a more meaty alternator to charge it??

Also if i do any ideas on costs of one??

check what voltage that you get off your Battery whilst the cars running with nothing on and then switch your headlamps, rear heated windscreen, heater and you other stuff on and check if the voltage drops, if it doesnt you should be ok, how many extra amperes are you drawing roughly?

mate i have a red top.. give me a a buzz on the mobile.. i have just don alot of research on this and i have uprated and replaced mine :D you know me

I have a very cheap sera Battery for sale now ;)

with the stuff you run you WILL not need to uprate the Alternator (but a new Stock one/refurb one might do some good)

If your in ipswich you could pop round and I couldd test it for you mate!

As it was i had to call the RAC out the next day to get the car started!! They determind(after a few tests) that one of the cells was absolutely shot!! i then had to drive stright to a shop to replace it!! now running a noce excide Battery which is a beast of a Battery! I love it and can now get in the car knowin it'll start! lol

Think i need a power cap now!
