if you were advertising something for sale - you need to be a paid-up member to do that...

and As Ian said, if you are not a member, you can't advertise ;)

I put a post up with my car specs, asking what people thought it might be worth IF i were to sell !

thats a grey area - because it could be seen as your trying to sell your car, but get around the T&C's...

If you put a post with your car, and its specs and ask what its worth - then i think your on safer ground...

Of course, if you want to sell it - just pay the measly bronze membership fee, and sell anything you want whenever you want...
