rite people,i have a 1.3 16v 98 starlet at da min,and afrt xmas i mite go for a t sport yaris,a white one, give it a real jdm look.wat id like 2 know is,wat are the tuning possibilites of these cars?and can a vvti controler be fitted to one,or wud it be a waste of time?wen does the vvti kick in on them?wat year did they start production?

TDI is the best place to go to..specialists on all jap tuning.. good little cars tho.. not many that ive seen with heavy engine mods.

Envy can tune it too (also specialists in jap tuning) and it should be a lot cheaper aswell comparing prices i have seen quoted from both TDI and Envy! Also a lot of people would swear by Envy on here and TDI is less well spoken off :P Also if you become a gold member on these forums you can get discount at Envy :D Not to mention the rest i already said on them :P

Theres nothing wrong with TDI, but Envy do know an awful lot about the yaris - saying that Im pretty sure TDI did Yaris-wrc's first 1.0l turbo conversion? Nick - is that right?

When I lived in bucks I used TDI to do my HKS backbox and induction system - nice guys and they know a lot about tuning. They were also fair with me pricewise and very helpful when it came to info etc

There are many options for customising the Yaris but I would suggest that you start off with some English lessons. Just the basics would give you the means to write a coherent post.
