Buying New Avensis

HI I HAVE JUST BECOME A NEW MEMBER TO THIS FORUM AND I AM LOOKING TO ORDER A NEW AVENSIS 2.0D4D T3X SALOON,I WOULD LIKE ANY ADVICE OR TIPS ABOUT THIS MODEL AND ANY GOOD OR BAD EXPERIENCES FROM OWNERS OF THIS CAR. THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP.

Got a 2.0l petrol T3-X auto, love the thing. A couple of rattles inside that need sorting, but after owning many new cars over recent years I've resigned myself to never buying a new car without some little niggles sorting. Like snagging on a new house!

Anyhow, the equipment levels are ace for the model, comfort is good, roomy, seats never give me problems on a long run, servicing costs are ok, tyre wear is low......I would recommend an Avensis to anyone, over say a more common Modeo or Vectra, but each to their own!

I agree totally, wonderful car, my 2.0 diesel is a bit sluggish, but the new 2.2 are supposed to be Very good, powerwise on a par with the mondeo and Passat, if not better. Go get one!!
