Low Rpm Ressonance/vibration

Hey guys, anyone on yours 1.0 ever felt some kind of resonance or vibration at low rpm around 1200-1800rpm? I felt that on my dad's golf (about 3000rpm), a mechanic who is a friend of us it could be from the exhaust... anyone got any ideas from what could it be?? =) cumps!!

yeah mine wobbles alot but thats when its idling and drops to about 500rpm (something to do with the vvti system i've heard) and it does shake the exhaust but thats cos the two are connected and an exhaust has a relatively 'lose' fixing as not to shake the car

If it is the exhaust its easy fixed - tenner at any local exhaust centre

But that's what i'm afraid of, that the exhaust system might somehow be shaking the car :P
