Replacement Arial Mount

The mount that the arial screws into got snapped in half in a car wash today! my fault for leaving the bee sting in!

Anybody know the cost of a replacement? or the model number? Looks like a job i can do myself or shall i leave it to Mr. T?

I am never using a car wash again!

I would imagine that you could very easily do it yourself, was it the original aerial (did it come from toyota) if so id just go to the dealer, show them the part and they will be able to sort you out with the proper part, id hope that it wouldnt cost too much - not really an expensive part :)

Yeah its the mount the aerial goes into rather than the actual aerial itself it sounds like! I would imagine you could get universal ones but i would probably just get officialy toyota one so it fits! wouldnt imagine it would cost must as it basically a screw thead connected to wires!

Not worth the hassle to get a generic one - phone MrT ask for parts and try not to fall over when they tell you the price!

Think that may be an expensive part as it is that part of the aerial which amplifies the signal if I remember correctly.

i snapped my ariel the other week but not the fittings called toyota they wanted £25 plus VAT for the whole package but as i didnt want the fittings just the ariel i went to eBay and got one for less than £6 including p&p and it fits hope this helps you x :)

I got a Civic Type R stubby aerial, looks the part, only cost £5 from eBay.
