Hi Darren here can somebody tell me where i can get a engine repair manual

for a 1992 1 litre 12 valve Toyota Starlet engine and can you tell me how easy

is the engine to break down and repair.

Hi mate.

You should really post this in the Starlet section - there's more chance that the right people will see it there.

If it's anything like the Sera block then it's a pretty straight forward engine to work on.

reliable as houses - as long as its not been abused u shouldnt have to do any major work on it, theyres not a lot on them so they are pretty easy to work on

by the way can the rotar arm on the distributor be bought seperately.

Rotor arm is a standard service part. Available from Toyota, Halfords, local motor factors etc. Couple of quid should do it

distributor cap is quite cheap, distributor can be expensive, might be able to pick on eup from a scrappy tho.
