Ps2 Online Gaming

I've only tried it with Smackdown vs Raw 2006, and it was terrible. I can only assume THQ put up servers for that with 28.8k modems. So much lag it's unplayable.

You just bung in the network disc that comes with the PS2, and let it do it's thang. If you haven't got one, the Sony uk PS2 site has a form where you can register your PS2 and receive the disc for free.

You can use that X-Link Kai program to play GT4 over a net connection. It uses your PC as a link and fools the PS2 into thinking it's just playing on a LAN.

Well, apparently. I can't get it to work, but I've seen posts on a GT forum from folk who've gotten it to work fine.

Putting the PS2 on a wireless network is easy. All you need is a wireless access point, or even one of those Linksys things that are specifically made for gaming. (I think they're still WAP's, but marketed as gaming units, no doubt to rake in more dough).
