Fitting A Strut Brace

i can only seem to get 2 nuts on each side and the other one hits the plastic thing on top.

do i need to jack the car up to get the third nut off ??

Its a faff having to work the third nut over but its a hell of a lot less hassle than taking half the lower windscreen apart!

Agrreed, taking the plastic thing off is such a kaffuffle, i never bothered

god it was a right pain for me aswell, i ripped my hands apart doing it, but well worth it for the results

taking the thing off wasnt too bad jsut time consuming.

but at the end i still cudnt get the strut brace, its a sparco one and its abit different from the omp one (which i shudve got) the brace sits too high and gets in the way of the cowel.

so i wasted 2 !Removed! hours on it for nothing :censor:

hey, sorry to hear this, that sucks!

what u all on about loosing skin.. :lol: i didnt have any issues, and we all know what my track record is like for DIY :P , i used a big ***** long screw driver to leaver the plastic bit out the way slightly in order to get to the nut.. worked a treat

What torque setting did you all use? front and rear? cheers :thumbsup:

ill have you know it is in perfect shape still and yes the bonnet closes fine, im quite surprised in you lack of faith in my work :lol: :P
