Hi there,

I have been told that it is reccomended to reset the ECU once a breating mod has been made, i.e like i have; installed an K&N induction kit.

How do i go about doing this?

Thanks

James

either unplug it direct (but if it's in the same place as on the AE82, it's a pain in the ubik to get at) or disconnect the battery for about 10 mins

Ah thats brilliant mate, thanks.

.....So it is a good idea to do this then?

well it won't do it any harm. i tried it, after i'd had my exhaust done, and put a full tank of optimax in it. it felt better to me, but i dunno if that was just psychological :D
