As the title says Hello.

Wanted to introduce myself before bombarding everyone with my questions. :P

I use a forum like this for my other hobbie so hope to find this one as useful.

Just browsing around so far it looks great and very handy.

Well my wife, Mel and I have an silver 2003 Celica and I am on the lookout for a cheapish MR2 SW20 T-Bar

I say cheapish as I want it as a project car as I like to restore and play with cars in my spare time.

Last two projects were a '72 MG midget and before that a DELOREAN hence my user name.

Cheers

Paul

Very interesting site!! I never knew the body and chassis was so "seperate" on them I assumed they were a monocoque style jobby... How many people did it take to lift the Shell????

(I seriously want one lol)

Hiya, Welcome to TOC :)

I'm having to scrap the 1987 MR2 that we've got in our Garage here as no-one else wants it..it's not a T-Bar tho & my sig says £150 but right now I'll take anything...anyway just thought I'd drop in a shameful plug lol

Well I actually got the body seperated from the chassis in about 4 hours.

Repeat I yep me on my tod :yes::yes:

20 building blocks, 1 two tonne jack and 2 lengths of 4 x 4 timber. :!Removed!: :!Removed!: :bye:

Method, very long story but quite easy once you get going.

Sad thing is I know longer have the midget or the Delorean. Belive it or not I actually got bored with the Delorean. Did all the work, got all the looks and ALL the jokes, nothing more to do. Still made 10K.:thumbsup:

Cheers again

Paul
