Paseo Remote Key Not Working

Hello,

Had a quick search and could find the answer to this. Apologies if I am repeating a question!

I have a P reg Paseo. I have recently changed the Battery in one of the sets of keys and it no longer works. I have followed the manual instructions to hold down both keys for 2 secs, but still no joy.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it with minimum cost?

paseos came with keyless entry? i had to put mine on aftermarket. try to find the unit itself and point it at it, holding the buttons. is there a light that comes on to indicate that it's actually sending a signal?

The remote key has a little red light to show that it is working and the Battery is brand new. I have pressed both buttons at once right by the receiving unit (as instructed in the manual, but no luck. Any ideas?

When I got my seo mine wasn't working, so I got a new Battery. It didnt work, so I did this:

after putting a new Battery in. What I did was took the Battery out, pressed the buttons for a minute to drain any last bean of power. Put the battery back in and pressed the buttons a few times in random combinations and it started working.
