Info On Mk4's

Ok I keep thinking I want to upgrade my Celica.

It seems I have three options - Celica GT4, Supra, Celica 190

To be honest I think the GT4 looks a bit too in your face with the bonnet vents etc, so I'm down to the Supra or the 190

Insurance is an issue as I'm 23 with 3yncb so it'll be sort of expensive for a twin turbo Supra.

Is the N/A worth going for? Is the amount of power a Supra has going to be a waste for me? (I drive 6 miles to work and back each day! at a max of 40ish mph)

Are there any major expenses that come with owning a Supra? The Gt4 has the suspension which gets you is there anything similar with the Supra?

Is a UK model better than an Import due to more power or not?

Anything else I should know?

TBH, don't think of it as an "Upgrade" .. they are *compleatly* different cars.

Out of the three I'd go GT4 .. reason?

The Soop is too big, too heavy, mostly Auto, very quick, but very soft.

The 190 is FWD and 190 brake .. <yawn> ..

The GT4 is heavy, but got the legendary 3s-GTE engine.

If you are after a Soop 100%, an NA will be the same on insurance as a UK TT, as it's an import. With the TT's, I've been told that the UK is more power, but more cruiser, where the Import is not as rapid, but feels more sporty.

And you don't buy a car like this and not expect BIG bills. Everything is more expensive .. hell, it was a £40+k car.

A lot of people say that about the na and uk tt but I didn't find it like that at all. Apparently it used to be like that but it seems that common sense has finally prevailed (with some companies)

For the record, i'll only be driving 2 miles a day for work in the new year, and an awesome two miles they'll be too!
