... of the New Yaris is here:

Click

Nine air bags dependant on model, and a leather option!

Between £11,500 and £13,300 for a New T-Spirit which in my opinion is quite a lot of money for a decent specification small car.

Not looking forward to the price of the T-Sport equivalent if/when it comes out... around £15k maybe?

Still no Vehicle Stability Control or Traction Control

Looks like prices have increased by about a grand or so...

T-Spirit 1.3 Manual 3 door is 11,495

I bought mine for 10,495 but that was including metallic paint and paint is £325 extra....

So £1,325 more for the same car, thats bigger and better specced..... bargain IMO!

Vehicle Stability Control is a great safety feature with wet icy or greasy roads. It would be nice to have the option or have it as standard. The Seat Ibiza has it as standard on the higher models.

The new Yaris is more expensive than I had hoped for. When you start adding a few extras like leather or sat nav it will be an expensive car. Saying that, I would have to test drive one first and see it up close to see how it compares to the competition.

Its a yaris though!

With the yaris getting bigger i would have thought it be more expensive!

Mr T normally takes off (*play with) 1k in discounts on new cars ....... most new cars have deals like citroen's and there no VAT etc.

I think it's just a sales pitch so you think that your saving money when initially the car had been marked up, we'll just have to wait for the deals to come from Mr T!

Around the 12k - 14k mark I was told for the TS  !

I'm willing to pay up to £15k for the T-Sport, but I reckon thats way more than I'm going to need.....

Price rises are inevitable though - and I mean its only like a grand! That might sound a lot but considering you are getting a bigger car, 5 star Euro NCAP safety rating, with more toys and gadgets, then it really is more than worth it!

I cant wait to see what toys the T-Sport has! :D

I doubt they'll be handing out many discounts though Dave.... not when the model is brand spanking new.... they'll just discount the P2 model to get rid of extra stock - nows the time to think of purchasing end of line Phase 2's!

just a shame all the pics of them have the 1nz in them

:P what mag was that?

No mag, you can download the pdf price list from Toyota's website. There's also a bigger "All New Yaris" section now including 360 degree view of the car and movies. There's a strange movie there that shows an F1 Toyota chasing a Yaris round the track!

From past and present yaris reviews (*and there's been alot) everybody has liked the car, but have come to the same conclusion:

It needs more power!

Toyota seem to be coming up with an impressive range of car's and with the aygo hopefully Mr T will feel that they can add that extra power so that the yaris can compete in the 'Hot Hatch' range.

Mr T may consider it gamble ..... but I hope these rumours come true.

15k for a 'Hot Hatch' ...... not bad indeed  !

have you ever driven a SEAT? poor mans VW with VW suspension, the handlings worse than the yaris  hence the need, never thought the yaris really needed it. its tiny little wheelbase does quite wellwith slippy roads and if you do slide out of action t least youve got more road to do so than you would in a bigger car ;lol:

they should do a 15k one with a 1.8 190bhp engine stuck in, then that will be a proper car and a 1.5 turbo for around 12k

stupid toyota, grumble, grumble

Are we getting a 1.5 turbo as the Standard t-sport or is this something else ?

Still Can't believe that toyota will be looking at 15K though, they will have shot themselves in the foot as it will be more expensive than equivalent larger model cars
