because it looks damn cool, and scares the hell outta people

Not on a Yaris it doesn't.

I agree with Al on this one I'm afraid!

I think it all depends on how G'd up your car is really. Mine, for example, could easily pull it off! :D :thumbsup:

Yeah i gotta agree that an antilag flame cant easily be beaten :D If you go to any rally with little sound regulations you will find lotsa nice flamey cars :D Usually if you get a straight through pipe do some serious thrashing followed by some !Removed! hard breaking you should get some almighty bangs and possibly some nice flames :D

I do also agree that it suits a rally car but perhaps not a yaris! unless your running it very race styley!

Oxymorons apart, it's just my opinion (and one or two others, it seems) that if your car spits flames, then people will expect it to go like the proverbial off a shovel.

When it doesn't....... they'll laugh. :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Still, not my car so go for it, you ickle flame spitters. :P

Flicking through the copy of "The Engineer" that appeared i my in-tray yesterday...

US company Rasckl Enterprises is to allow car 'enthusiasts' to fit their vehicles with flame throwers. The sensitively names Eat My Flames kit allows a spark plug to be rigged into the exhaust. After revving up, a switch emits a stream of unburned petrol which is ignited as it is expelled, shooting fire 60cm or more - presumably to impress fellow road users. Orders have been placed by drivers in Australia and Switzerland, though thankfully not as yet from the UK.

So there you go - be the first :rolleyes:
