I think the GT4a is also known as the GT4 RC. Its the import version of the Carlos Sainz special version.

I could be wrong though....st185's arent my speciality

Mine`s a GT4R and its a widebody so i suspect Leeky could be right with the RC thing. Easy way to tell if it is. You will have a charge cooler (Water/Air) instead of a intercooler (Air/Air) top mount.

It`s all rather confusing.........

like i said in the PM mate, all the 'A' means is that it is an origional wide body from Japan, i'm not so sure about the longer body as all the body panels on mine are the same as my mates 1990 UK widebody GT4.

they came with a roof top spoiler like mine, i've changed my homepage to my photobucket folder for my GT4.

they aren't the Aussie version of the CS/RC as they have the ATA interwarmer, altho there is one but the name escapes me right now. (EDIT: the aussie ones are 'group a's)

they have the same gearbox as the normal GT4, so not the same one as the CS/RC or even the special close ratio box that the 'light weight' editions came with.

they do come in differant spec's, i.e. climate control etc the same as normal GT4's.

so really they aren't that special except they are the origional widebodies
