I was wrong about the age it's a 1984!

The penetrating oil will have a week to soak in before we start  The project starts after boxing day and needs to be finished by the 2nd of January!

Luckily the body is all in good condition, the majority of bolts seem to have been replaced with stainless - they seem to be metric and not rusty!

We've got a replacement chassis waiting, so it should go in this order:

Day 1 - Strip all the body parts off, leaving just the bad chassis, running gear etc

Day 2 - Drop Axles and suspension etc out and move onto the new chassis

Day 3 - Rebuild engine whilst moving it to a new chassis

Day 4 - Plonk the body back onto the new chassis

Day 5 - Paint the new wings and door tops and fit them

Day 6 - Fix the dodgy electrics and any other little bits

Day 7 - Rest!

Well that's my plan anyway - never done one before so it's probably all in the wrong order and will probably take 10 times as long! I will try to take as many pics as possible but you know what it's like when your all mucky - you don't fancy picking up your nice clean camera!

*edit*

Forgot - we've got to put new seats in as well - somewhere in that
