Took the car to Dastek in fife the other day and got it on the rollers, here are the results..

and another click

141bhp at 7000rpm

117.4 ft.lb at 4500 rpm

Not bad considering its standard.

Hopefully in the new year i will be able to put a nice twin exit cat back with 4" tailpipe on it. will wait and see what happens

Get an induction kit too Davy!

Induction kit along with the cat back should see you running about 145bhp which would be nice! B)

Induction kits for the roadster are notoriously crap... Dont bother.

As long as you're at dastek though, put a unichip on it. the driveability is much improved, with lots of extra low down torque, and a nice extra wedge of bhp up top. In terms of the amount of extra power made per £ spent, it is, by a huge margin, the single best performance mod you can make to the roadster...

What HP are they meant to run standard??

140 out the box aren't they?

A cone filter will be pony unless you shield it from the engine bay.

Most cars cone filters will lose you BHP, and on a mid engine car, it's usually a whole lot worse.

Out of the box they can be anywhere around 137 to 140.. so 141 aint too bad
