Am being lazy... and my photoshopping isnt up to much, so....

Has anybody got a photo or a photoshop of the grey bumper inserts colour coded on a thunder grey TSport?? Unfortunately I managed to take out a bit of road kill recently so the the front insert is going to need replacing and have been thinking about doing this for a while anyway. Would just be good to get an idea what it looks like first.

Cheers

when you say insert - do u mean the centre section of the bumper which is non colour coded

if you have a decent pic ill be happy to photoshop it for you

The TSport Tubby has them colour coded as standard I think ... seen one from a picture from the ring last year ... it'll be on here somewhere ...

one of the most !Removed! parts about the p2, bump strips as standard!

rip em off and have the bumpers smoothed :P

Now that looks a lot better!

Does anyone know who makes that splitter?? -you dont see many for the P2 T Sport.

Looked into this seriously but it would be a ugger of a job to do and still keep the towing eye -cant decide wether am that bothered or not if I loose it.

but with all the effort thats required why dont you modify a p1 bumper to fit a p2? p1 ts bumpers are so nice (i am seriously considering getting one for mine at some point in't future)

Dont blame you as there sooooo yummy! I reckon you could pull it off as you aint making it look OTT (i mean to keep with you subtle look) :D I think i just gona subtly mod my SR then hopefully upgrade to red Tsport :D

Only problem for the P2 is dont you have to change the upper (as isnt this where the bumpstrips are) and then lower bumper for kool looks which means changing headlights and grill aswell which is bit of a big job!

yeah but surely CC the bump strips is cheaper :P Even removing and smoothing is. And i guess he prefers the P2 look hence why he brought a P2.

well the p2 ts bumpstrips are already cc'd (like the t-spirit) - i think the others are just getting at the fact that they have them in the first place

and ccing the grey parts is cheaper - but you know the saying about polishing a !Removed!...

Moreover, the T-Sport bumpers are all one piece so there is no lower and upper that you speak of Woody!

oo fair enough! cheers!

"grey bumper inserts colour coded on a thunder grey TSport" is what the topic was about so i thought that was the bump strips at the corner of P2's! My huge misunderstanding as i realise we are looking at the bottom centre section! :P But yeah even if it is one piece atleast my lights and grill point was relevant!

But yeah i totally agree with BLiTZ then as i dont really like that front bumper CC or not :P

For some reason i prefer the P2 TS bumpers to the P1 look more modern i suppose when next to each other and the grey centre looks quite sporty, got it on the ibiza cupra aswell
