Does anyone know where I can get hold of a CV Joint for my Carina-e GTI 1992 model. Local garage couldn't track one down, and it is getting urgent now.

Just to close this off, I got one from azmotors.co.uk for £59. The mechanic charged £30 to fit it. It was a substantial piece of machinery, and the mechanic said it was awkward to fit, but I am well satisfied.

I did look at partsinabox, and they seemed to be selling TWO of the same thing, for about £32 !! but by that time I had already ordered from azmotors. The local mechanic did say though, that the thing I paid £59 for, would have cost him at least £80 through the trade.

And as an addendum, I got a set of front disc pads on eBay for £20, which was a good bargain too, and they were the right ones.
