Last April I renewed the road tax on my car over the phone, I want to do the same on another car. But the renewal number is not on the reminder letter.

Does anyone know what the automated renewal number is?

can I still pay with my card even throgh the car is registered to someone else?

there's a 16 digit identification number at the top right of the renewal notice.

Go online and do it. Quoting that number brings up all the details on the car.

Under it is all the options you have....including phone - 0870 850 4444
