hi there,

without changing the internals as i expect its costly, what other upgrades are worth having? exhaust system and stuff i suppose! could somepne giveme a list of possible bits. i think its still limited so this wouldobviously change it abit.

a boost controller £26 , and a £25 boost gauge will give you around 40 horses and greater accelleration - delimiting the car will only increase the top end speed from 112 mph to nearer 140 -150 ish.for more RAW power you just need to up the boost.

can i just ask... how would one get the import delimited?? is it possible to do one's self??

2 methods .. you either buy a "converter" that changes the KMPH signal into MPH .. your clocks will read 1.6 times slower.

This has a knock on effect of pushing the speed limiter to 180 ..

The other method is a "de-limiter", this fools the ECU into thinking it's not going over 112. Thor have these for £80 or so.

I'd suggest an Apexi RSM .. £150 of eBay and it'll do a lot more and add a bit of <ahem> bling to your interior.

Forgot to say, most of these are a 10 minute solder job .. usually power, earth wires and then two which you splice into the speedo wire.
