Whilst watching sky tonight (can't remember which channel) but I seen a new advert with a car in it and at first glance I thought it was a Mazda (the small hatch one)

To my amazement it was the new yaris ..... going with the small/big image!

It was quite cool ..... and an elephant comes out of the boot :lol:

So keep an eye out for it guys  !

I spotted the ad too. It was on at around 7:00 when the foot ball was on (sky)

It's a good ad, going down a curvy road.

The dash and console looked quite nice.

Fully-specced new Yaris is £14815

This isn't a reasonably quick sport version either. 90hp diesel for £500 less than I paid for my 190hp Corolla three years ago.

I don't call that progress :(

Wonder how much the 1.8 is going to cost?

Paul.

Yeah but the amount of toys you get on a top spec would be more than you ever got on your Corolla.....

I specced mine up last night - 15k T-Spirit 1.3 including leather seats, sat nav and protection pack.... I thought "cor blimey"

But the extra stuff you get is kinda worth it..... maybe its just me and my logical mind working overdrive though, but surely bigger car plus extra kit plus new model equals a bit more on the cost...

Actually I'm disappointed that the Yaris isn't going to get the VSC electronics. Seems to be only available on the versions with discs all round (rear drums on a £14k car?).

I'd be loathe to go back to a car without it for my daily drive.

I must admit, its the only thing thats slightly hacked me off - the rear drums.... I would have preferred discs all round and like you say, for the price your paying....

Hopefully the T-Sport equivalent will!

Have to agree the prices sound bad, the t sport must be very expensive which will do toyota no good as theres plenty of competition out there

yep seen it :D the bgm is a bit bugging though and the whole patronising crap that you get with these types of ads, they need to steal honda's ad guys - now they can make a cool ad.......[sing]dream the impossible dreammmmm[/sing]

Just been messing about building my own T-Spirit - £1,150 for Sat Nav? Are they aware there's competition for that now?
