Can somebody help me out removing a stereo from my 1992 paseo that only has 38,000 miles on it (I just got it :-D)

I I think I must remove the whole center plate thing off....and all I see is two screws on each side. I take them out and it still doesn't want to budge...

yup - remove the center console with the rear windscreen heater switch.

there are infact 4 screws holding down the stereo - 2 higher & farther forward then 2 below those slightly further back.

unscrew those & the stereo should pop out.

I can't get the front cover off that's blocking the stereo...I see two screws and I take those out and still doesn't want to budge. What did I miss? Is it the heater switch that's holding it?

Your should beable to pry the consol part off with a flat blade - disconnect the heater switch.

I'll try & post some pics up when i've stopped freezing....
