Corolla 4agze Mongoose Exhaust

Hi all,

I have a 92 Corolla GTi 16 with the Fensport supplied 4AGZE. I also have a Mongoose stainless system (from downpipe back). The car has failed its M.O.T. due to a leaking first flexible joint.

Can anyone tell me if this is a Mongoose part or can Toyota supply it. Toyota don't want to commit to ordering a part for a non-standard exhaust blah blah...

I'm also having trouble getting info from Mongoose

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure what part that joint is on. I would ask the garage where the leak was coming from (area of leak). As the exhaust is fitted from the down pipe back then any leak from there back is the mongoose exhaust and anything forward of it is a standard part. If you're are unsure then ring fensport I bet they'll know. Or just get on your back and look yourself.

I've just had the same engine put into my AE111. If the downpipe is from the 4A-GZE then this is the part with the flexible bit in it. From the downpipe back is the Mongoose part so it looks like you need to contact Fensport.

Thanks for your help gents. Adrian had a spare ZE downpipe which I am going to use.
