Hello fellow Rav 4 owners and merry christmas.I am a newbie to this site and am impressed with what i've read.

I have a 2003 D4D Gx 5dr.It has been superb apart from;

a)parcel shelf

b)auxillary belt squeel-giong in for the third time for the spacer modification

c)brake effiency poor-was told by local dealer that i needed a brake fluid change-no different

Have just replaced front tyres with Toyo tranpaths after 26k and have read the mixed opinions about these tyres and have been very happy with the Toyos.

Have also just replaced pollen filter,can't believe how bad it was!!!

Could someone please indicate what kind of price a 30k/3yr service should be?

I have same car, same year. If you wait until Jan, I will tell you how much it costs!

I have only had one problem with mine (touch wood), and that was a horrible rattle like noise when we turned like creaking of glass on metal. If you could imagine the suspention springs creaking when you turned. I took it in and it was..........................................a number 8 pool ball under the chassis! Must of been left by the original owners and worked its way loose! How embarresed was I infront of the Totota garage? I was not, it was my wife who took it in!
