Q: Hi mate, you say in the ad about an engine conversion, any more details on this? Has the logbook been updated? ta. 26-Dec-05
A: The engine has the same bottom end. These items on the top end were changed: the header, intake manifold, valves, camshaft, ECU, injectors. These parts were taken from an MR2 and Corolla GTI since they had more performance headers then mine. The Celica ST has the economy 7A-FE 1.8 engine but the MR2 Mk1 & Corolla GTI has the 4A-GE 1.6 performance engine. So we used the performance headers with the bigger bottom end of the Celica to give us more power than the 7A-FE or the 4A-GE on their own, you could now call it the 7A-GE. The pistons were also replaced to give a slightly higher compression. Nothing was changed on the log book since the engine size and block is the same. Hope this answers your question.

Im sorry but 4a and 7a? i've never heard of anyone doing this, especially as a 3S swap would save a lot of time <_<
