Avensis Cd Player Problem

I have an Avensis 1.8 GS 2002. The radio and navigation work fine. But the CD player

is not working. If I push the CD player switch or ejection button, nothing happens.

I cannot load any CD. There is no any error message on the LCD display. If I turn off

the ignition, I can hear a click sound if I push the CD ejection button. I do not hear the

click sound when the ignition is on. Any one can offer some clue? Thanks in advance.
