damper rate is adjustable yes, for just plain old shocks then id recommend koni

if youve got the money then TTE/TRD Sportivo stuff

even better save for the entry level TEIN coilovers

Do you have any info on the trd/tte stuff?

I was looking at the tein setup but idealy wanted dampness adjustable which is only avilable on the higher spec setups!

And i was waiting to see the spec and cost of the envy coilover setup which aparently is based on the tein basic damper but again no dampness adjustment!

Tein/ envy coilovers

or

Koni dampers and lowering springs??

I dunoooo!

Any views?

CB

Is damping adjustment that useful?

My height adjustable coilovers are pretty comfy driving about town (still stiffer than standard though) and when I'm on a B-road or whatever they seem to lean so far and then just stop and it won't lean anymore. What I'm saying is, basically, that my height adjustable coilovers don't need damping adjustment so I don't know if it would be useful on other setups for the Yaris?

different shocks are different rates..

You could buy some blistiens without adjustment and they REALLLLY STIFF,and you wish you could turn them down at times

I need something fairly cheap as this wasn't a planned mod. When i had it lowered found out that i had a leaking front shock, and my MOT is in march.

Borrow someones T-Sport shock from on here for the MOT and then put your old one back on and give them their shock back! ;)

But you never heard that here! :bye:

Eh? Put a fully working shock on for the MOT (borrow one off someone on here) and it'll pass the MOT and then take the fully working one off and give it back to the person who owns it and put the leaking one back on! It's really not rocket science mate! :P

I don't remember me saying they were?

I'm just saying it'll let him pass his MOT and give him a bit more time to save for Koni's (which is what I recommend aswell btw)!

I can stretch to the konis but i originally wanted coileys, a few of my mates are really against that idea saying the ride will be to hard for everyday use
