Camber/geo Looks Off

Hey peeps

Did the lower arm and figure of 8 the other week. Good news is it has fixed the problem but now my steering wheel isnt straight and it feels very twitchy so i think i have somehow messed up my tracking/geo.

Is this normal when working on the superstrut?

The only think i think that i may have done that would have upset it was when i was trying to get the lower arm balljoint out.

I pulled the banana bar round so i could get a brick underneath the plate so i could knock the balljoint through using a hammer and a ball joint breaker.

It was tough to move round and i didnt undo the bolt on the banana bar befor moving it as i thought it wasnt a problem.

Any ideas?

I need to get new tyres so when i get them fitted i'll get the tracking and geo done then.

In my opinion 'NO' wheel alignment is the least important and the last to be corrected in a geometry.

Your car is multiple adjust... with that image in mind a full geometry is the only way to ensure all is well!

could even be the previous owner had the tracking adjusted with play in the arm/fig8. now you have got rid of that play the tracking may be out.

a thumb through the yellow pages should give you about 500 different places to go, but pick somewhere that does 4 wheel laser aliginment as this ensures all the wheels point in the right way
