H7 Bulbs

i fitted some new ultra blue bilbs to my 2000 avensis, but the beams are all to pot, do the bulbs have to be fitted in a certain angle, cos they do have a sorta lug, if you know what i mean.

They sure do, that lug should engage with a cut out in the holder. When viewed from the front, filaments are usually parallel to the ground (I think)

thats right, but with that in mind, what angle of rotation does the bulb sit in the housing, i don;t appear to have "LUGS"

There's a dimple rather than a lug on a H7 I think. Either way, you should make sure they are sitting flat and square in the holder. They should only fit flat one way.

Hate to say it, but I hope you aren't expecting better light output from those bulbs, hope it's more for looks.

actually there is better light, the lines seem brighter along with the signs

as for the dimples there are 3, and a cut out bit :S

Err pardon my confusion macker, but that top set are H4, and your post is entitled H7, I may be interested as my altered bulbs are little better than the originals.

hey uve got me realli interested in buyin the top set of bulbs? theres nothing realli qrong with my ones atm but i still wouldnt mind changin them for that small price? as my 98 avensis has got the fog lights aswell can u get a xenon replacement bulb for them aswell? an also is it easy to change em around?
