we all know the yaris is cubicly challenged when the rear seats are up and offer max legroom to passengers.

i managed to squeeze 2 peoples things for 5 days holiday in there plus a couple of luxuries, not bad i recon.

you had times where you have crammed so much into a small car?

Try my best mate, two small children, a cat, a PC and various other bits and bobs in the boot with PC - moving my best mate to Wales - the car was jam packed - me & Charlie in front, the kids and the cat in the rear! Was a squeeze but it was worth it! :D

>4 school girls and baggage

or for when we went to donington for tuner gp...

> spare 13" tyre (incase of puncture so you dont have to drive 1.5 hours home on the crappy space saver)

> proper car jack

> 2 camping stools

> rucksack

> m&s french stick m&s crispy bacon slices crisps marsbars etc

> several coats

> 2 umberellas

and alot of other stuff that we probably didnt need to take

also taken a microwave on the rear seat

and occasionally the family all fit in so it doesnt do bad imo

I helped my sister move house using my car (with a bit of a hand from 2 transit-sized vans & a Toyota 4x4) so I had absolutely all kinds in it. With me having to sacrifice a bit of legroom to fold the back seats forward my legs were killing me. They only moved about a mile away, if it was further I'd have had to keep stopping to stretch my legs.

yeah know how you feel - we had to take a cabinet to my grans about 5 miles from ours, so with the drivers seat forward i got in, then got out and made dad drive cos its was impossible to fit in it

Pah! Amateur!

gallery_3803_27_1105998168.jpg

Plus 2 passengers (one of whom is about 6 foot 7...) 7 days round Europe with luggage...

I wish I had a photo of "trade stand floor into Transit" too :D

The challenge is always seeing if you can do it without having to more the parcel shelf in any way.

One of my best was the 20 pieces of curved, toughened glass, a trolley jack and a 16" wheel as well as my usual "box-o-crud" in the back with the seats folded forwards...

Drove very carefully that day!

Follow that, eh? Nah, can't beat the fit nurses one. That's always gonna win!

As far as the boot is concerned (and the rest of the car!)....

A five foot real Christmas tree, a few weeks ago and the same tree to a recycling skip this Monday.

Of course, it's all wrapped up in netting when you buy it.

We had to truss it up with gardening twine and cover it in bin bags for its "final journey" and I think most of its needles are still in the car.

I've done a few, car (Yaris) Boot Sales.

with the seats flat You can cram a lot of boxes in, it's like a little van.

As BLiTZ said, you (the driver) will have leg cramp though by the end of the journey

Regulary go camping with the car - two adults (well Kate and Me) plus all the gear for week long walking holiday/camping - not bother at all.

Couple of weeks before christmas I had 4 reconditioned 15 wheels with tyres, 2x5l oil, 2x4l coolant, 4x17s with tyres, new lights rear lights for the MR2 and a set of mats ... plus me. (OK I admit I cheated - I fitted the mats and threw the old ones away on the spot)

Day after boxing day - 120 litre rabbit cage, 12 bags of assorted rubbish and the worlds collection of empties to the skip.

With the seats down its a huge space - largely due to the high roof I reckon ...

... rear seats going this weekend so Ill be in full van mode by then!

All of you are amatuers,

2 adults (including driver)

7 weeks worth of camping gear (back seats completely removed)

Tons of clothes

3 Body boards

2 surf boards on roof

Fridge/coolbox thing - 2 stoves - BBQ

Table - 2 chairs

Tent - Tent which could have accomdated the car (piccy when i find one - the yaris looked tiny)

Double air bed - electric pump

Full electrical adapter

about 6 HUGE towels

i think 12 pairs of shoes (some being flip flops)

Wish i had a pic of it all laid out, was impressive and also a work of art to get it in there

Me, my bro, and a complete motorcycle in pieces in the back with the seats folded down.

Damn, that was a slow 6 miles home that day..... :D

We had a clearout the other week, and that compiled about 10 full black bags, various cardboard and plastic gubbins, over to the tip. Back seats folded up, and junk in front passenger seat and footwell too.

So if you smell anything in my car, it ain't me, alrite! :D
