Mp3 Player Working.....

I have the I-RIVER H10 MP3 player and can play audio from this through my Factory fitted headunit.. Just installed and tested it today.. no immediate problems

I have a 2000 GS D4D Avensis with CD Player W53804.

I purchased the VTYX001 adapter from incarexpress.co.uk and it couldn't be simpler to install

The adapter just piggybacks the existing wiring harness.... the one with 5 pins on top and 7 on the bottom and connects to the back of the stereo.... follow the link below to see it

The adapter has an rca input so you will need a mini jack to rca lead.. but this comes with the adapter...

Definite thumbs up .. cost 55 quid .... not very cheap but still worth it for the selection of music and no more damaged cd's!!

If it piggybacks the existing wiring, does this mean you can still use the cd changer as well?

Mike .. I haven't got a cd changer in my car but I would presume you cant as the adapter piggy backs the wiring but the idea is for the adapter itself to replicate a cd changer. Once this is connected and you press cd on the head unit cd 1-1 appears.. I presume this is the same for your cd changer..

Could be wrong though..
