Just to change a little bit the sad mood of most of the topics, it was released today a study about automakers reliability and Toyota is the most reliable brand in Portugal (a known bad driver’s country), check here: http://www.fastaccess.pt/cgi/cgi-bin/fa_no...AC2D0E4}&page=2

I think it’s very illustrative, even if written in Portuguese…

So, a few problems, mainly with 1.8..., but still much better than the others.

Ah! The seat problem in my Avensis will be solved next Tuesday, free of charge!

Yes, that is what the statistics say using all the data registrys available, but there is lots of problems unregistered... Toyota in Portugal is Salvador Caetano, which unfortunatly is not at the same technical level of Toyota, and undercovers lots of problems... I'm still having lots of them, some caused by bad maintenance capabilities.

I'm sure most of the times the problem is not the Toyota car, but the local support service.

To me has been the first and last time I buy a Toyota, living in Portugal. :crybaby:

Best regards,

Nuno
