I've spent 2 hours in Halfords yesterday trying to find performance brakes for me car and only found RED DOT Discs and Pads.

The discs are 6 grooved and £133.25 for the front pair.

The Pads are Performance Pads are £84.31.

Part Numbers:

Discs: XJS-120S

Pads: XE-4856.

Are these Right, not that i'm doubting Halfords......... but i am, lol.

or does anyone else know of any other places where i can buy performance braking.

hope this helps you tell me what ones i should be looking at..........

also,,,,,,, took the wheels off today..... i got about 4mm left of me pads....so i'l need them soon. :)

Found some GREENSTUFF PADS (Part No 2995)

jus need the discs now :)

 EBC don't do greenstuff pads for the avensis, only blackstuff

http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/car/default...A&model=Avensis

As you can also see 98 to 02 1.8's share the same pad according to EBC so that should clear up the need for speed question for you

that give ME the wrong pads, look up the part number above (which is the same as a MR2 91-00 and a carina-e 92-98) i dunno why mine are different, but i fitted them pads to my car last week, as a tempory measure till i get performance ones.
