Website Updates - Information

Dear Members

As some of you may have noticed we have been performing upgrades to the forums. We regularly make upgrades in order to keep the forums secure and bug free for your enjoyment.

Today we have done some major upgrades and there are still a large amount of upgrading to do.

We would like to bring to members attention that the following forum features you may find not working correctly.

1. Gallery is only partially working and we are working on getting this fixed ASAP
   
2. Garage will not work... we shall update you on the progress of this.
   
3. Arcade is out of action.
   

As the forum is our main concern we have devoted 100% in getting this fully functional. Members should find all parts of the forum working correctly. Please report any errors with the forums to me as soon as possible (do not submit gallery, garage and arcade errors please)

Last of all we would like to thank the patience of members during our downtime.

If the header of the boards do not look right it may be othe old header background show which is in your cache.. press CTRL & F5 at the same time to refresh your cache.

Working fine here. Just getting used to the new interface. Just uploaded a pic in another thread so it's all lookiing good.

Now all it needs is a spellchecker! :P

One thing i seem to be having a problem with is posts with polls in them. I get a message at top of the screen: IPB Warning [2] Invalid Argument supplied for foreach () (line:1605 of /sources/action - public/topics.php)

The polls are not visible just a series of lines.

Am I missing the way to get back to the main forum site? I can get into active posts but I seem to not be able to get back to the main forum page where all the corolla, supra forums are? I have to delete the text after http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/ then I can access it? Did the logo at the top left not do that before?

you need to click the bread crumbs top left mate... where it says Toyota Owners Club - UK Toyota Car Club > General > General Discussions

click the Toyota Owners Club bit and that takes you to the main page.

Not sure if the logo used to do it but just use the navigation bar.

Where it says:

Toyota Owners Club - UK Toyota Car Club > General > General Discussions

Just click on the first bit

I've noticed one difference with the forums - not sure if it's a bug or not?

Last week if I used Firefox, when I posted in a forum or viewed a forum then used the back buttons to go back to the fourm index it had updated, (internet explorer didn't and just gave me a cached version and I had to refresh to get it updated)

Now since the update Firefox doesn't update either, it's no big thing as if I use the Navigation bar bit to go back then it updates fine - Just wondered why it would change really???

Hi mate...no you dont.. just click the title of the message when it pops up.

I received a message a moment ago.. not sure if you leave a window open it ops up or not... I will keep an eye on it and if it continues i will get the software developers tot ake a look.
