Alright guys i'm just wondering if anyone knows if Mr. T sells the T-sport fabric...

I'm planning to do my buckets in this material if i can get hold of it so i don't have to change the seats soon ;)

Do they recover them themelves or send them off to be done? I can't see the average Mr T dealer doing anything than replacing parts with newer or different parts.

Very much doubt they'll do the fabric. They'll replace the seats. £800 a pair I believe. The cost, if it's in the first year will be covered by Toyota, the next two years of warranty are covered by the dealer. Hence why it's easier to claim on your warranty in the first year as the delaer doesn't have to pay!

They can still get major costs, like re-call and engine/gearbox faults to be paid for by toyota.

Yes but Ross is wanting to recover his buckets cos he fancies it (I think). Don't think Toyota warranty covers that. :bangin:

Could you not take them to an apholsterer (spelling?) and get them to cover it. You could even buy the cloth and get them to do it.

Either way i think it could be an expensive venture.

You ever sat on leather that's been baking in the summer sun for 6 hours?

Yes, it took another 6 hours to get off the seat

Some people like that ;)

Lol anyway i would get the seats trimmed in an interesting cheaper material that will look better than an RS interior. If your upgrading it you may aswell go for the best in your budget rather than just the same RS interior (which isn't all that fancy) just in your car instead of the RS.

The material is all down to personal taste, if he wants TS material, let him, it does look good and he wont get stuck, plus it means he only has to get the front seats done!!!

Lol fair play to you! Maybe try going for a similar material from a different provider? Wont you have to get it all trimmed to tie in to the tsport material or are you getting the rear seats and door cards from a tsport?
