Junk Removal Question

just a quick question really.

The flat me & my girlfriend rent comes with a garage in a communial carpark/garage area.

Basically the grage is full of junk from the shops i.e old fridges equipment etc. :ffs:

Now i'd like to start using the garage to store my 300 in whilst i do some engine work.

is there anyone who would come and remove this stuff at a reasonable cost i.e a scrap mechant?

any help is appreciated.

Be careful with a skip thopugh, they won't take it away if there is a refrigerator in it, try and take it yourself to a recycling depot.

can you not just phone up your local council, they will uplift all that stuff and should be able to take your fridge freezer too.

We don't have the uplift service in England, it seems to be a Scottish thing. I was amazed when we helped a friend in Scotland do her drive, and a quick call to the uplift department and they came and took the crap away after!

We have to pay to hire a skip, or lug the stuff ourselves - there are a few companies though who come and take stuff for you but they charge a fair bit and according to rogue traders on BBC they go and dump them in our countryside :ffs:
