Hi people,

dose anyone know where i can find a diagram of a 2-way switch with intermediate swich connected to a batten lamp holder if possable or can anyone tell me how it would be done, all i'am looking for is where each coloured wire goes?

Is this a replacement?

If so, look at the other switch and the terminals will probably be marked something like C, L1 and L2. Just match up the colours in the three core cable with the terminals on both switches. There is no standard for which colour goes to which terminal.

If there is also a two core cable to the switch, then one core goes to L1, the other to L2.

Of course, this presumes standard wiring - if you are in any doubt, call a professional - electricity hurts and can cause fire!
